E-mail to Miami-Dade Commissioners sent 12:27 p.m. 6/25/2019
The below “before” and “after” photos depict what FPL (or their contractors) did to the illumination of my front yard by breaking an LED installation suspension pledge made to the County Commission on June 4, and YESTERDAY installing one of their LED lighting gadgets on the light pole at the end of my driveway. I am lame and this very questionable installation directly affects my safety.
Other available graphic “before” and “after” photography near my home speaks well for my demand that this utility company return to my street and reinstall the two sodium lamp lighting fixtures that they replaced yesterday morning in violation of their June 4 pledge.
If the Commissioners cannot stop these lying folks in a courteous nice way, they need to obtain a court injunction forbidding FPL from any further installations pending further study– violations $1000 per pole. More and more this appears to be the only way that our residents can be assured that their streets will remain well illuminated– safe and crime free.
